My 2023 Holiday Viewing...

I always like to watch themed movies during the different holidays, and the Christmas 2023 season I kept my tradition alive, though I didn't have time to watch as much as I would have liked to.

Though I did watch a few classic holiday specials, like Charlie Brown, The Grinch, He-Man and She-RA, and Pee Wee's Playhouse, I'm devoting this post to sharing my list of Christmas Horror I found time to view! I'm not getting too deep or reviewing, because of time constraints, so I'm just sharing the movie posters with a short blurb.

I'm gonna get planning for next years Christmas viewing. Maybe I should see what I can find for Valentine's Day horror too? Send me suggestions. I'm @thestevestrout on social media.

I was honestly kinda lost with this one, though there were some really fun kills...that alone makes it worth a watch!

This one got a little weird too, but great kills, so count me in! 

This was a fun "infomercial" of sorts for the Full Moon franchises like Puppet Master, Ginger Dead Man, and Baby Oopsie! Check it out if ya have an hour to spare.

This one will become a cult classic in the coming years! Drew Marvick is stellar as the disgruntled Santa! Loved seeing a bunch of acquaintances and friends in this one. You'll even see my name in the credits, so be on the lookout. Figure out where you can see this one!

This was fun. If you're a fan of movies like Scream, Freaky, and Happy Death Day, you'll dig this one.

This one is arguably the first slasher film, and an absolute classic. I gotta watch the remake asap too, as I hear it's pretty damn good.

The first time I saw this was on The Last Drive In with Joe Bob Briggs, and I was too busy chatting with the Mutants that I missed a bit of the film. After the rewatch, A Christmas Horror Story has jumped way up my list of Christmas favorites!

This take on the classic Dr. Seuss story stars Art The Clown himself, David Howard Thornton. This one was a blast, and will definitely get another watch
