I just got in this evening after a pro wrestling event, and got to thinking how busy I've been and how I missed you all. I figured I better post and say hello.
Not a bad week. The dust has cleared from the Comic Book Swap Meet last week. We raised some money for the local Humane Society, and filled a couple boxes of food for the food bank! I'd call that a success.
I was also honored to be interviewed by Chuck Anderson from the Sci Fi Monkeys website (and writer at Alucard Press). It was kind of cool to be on the interviewee for once. That should be live soon, hopefully. You know I'm gonna share it here.
The week was capped off by an early screening of Captain America: Civil War, and, well...Civil War lived up to the hype. There's nothing more I can really say, is there? I hadn't read the whole Civil War comic arc, but did read a novelization of it. I was beyond excited to see how it all played out on the big screen. It was well beyond my expectations, and just may be my favorite Marvel Studios film to date. I'm going to give ou a chance to see the movie, so I'm not spoiling anything...We'll talk about it soon enough!! Here's the trailer again...

In case you were wondering, YES, of course the wrestling show was fun! It's always been a part of my life, and I've always been a fan. Today's show was cool because I got to catch up with a wrestler/buddy, Randy 'The Pimp' Taylor (fun gimmick, right?) and watch him work a match. I believe I mentioned Randy Taylor in my ECCC post. He's a NW wrestling mainstay, and old school geek. He even made a long trip up to hang at the Comic Book Swap Meet last weekend, and showed the comic creators we had at the show a lot of love! He had to make multiple trips to his car to unlaod the art and collectibles he scored. Great guy.
What did you do this week? Did you see Civil War? Is there anything excited coming up that we should cover here, or that you'd like to cover for the site? Let me know!
Stay tuned for a bit about the Comic Book Swap Meet too!!!
Next show we will be covering is Crypticon Seattle!!
