Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2, Power Rangers...Vernon's IMDB) and Michael Berryman ( The Hills Have Eyes, Star Trek, and so many more iconic roles... Michael's IMDB) to renowned artist Clayton Crain and writer of the Zombie comic Rotten, Mark Rahner....not to mention the dozens of other amazing comic book creators and vendors at the show...including Us! We'll be sharing a booth with the creator of the comic series, Sukotto, Scott Adams!
We also managed to get a quick Q&A with another guest of honor and star of one of the greatest zombie films ever, Return Of The Living Dead, America's Scream Queen Linnea Quigley, which we were ecstatic about!! Check it out...
Thestevestrout: You are so well known from NIGHT OF THE DEMONS and RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD. What are your favorite roles you have portrayed?
Linnea Quigley: The roles I have enjoyed portraying are the strong women roles (even though there are also the fun and silly Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowlarama and Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers.)
TSS: You've earned the honor of the title “America's Scream Queen”! What's your definition of a Scream Queen, and can you pinpoint which film earned you that title?
LQ: Its amazing as a horror fan myself to be the scream queen and… I love it. I’m not really sure how it came about. Maybe Fangoria Magazine, People Magazine, and other publicity... plus all the fans, premieres and stuff I did on shows for television and films.? Playboy Magazine recently said about me “Linnea Quigley is the sexiest scream queen of all time”! WOW!
TSS: Since the studios are 're-booting’ so much of many of our childhood films, if you could remake any film , which one would you remake?
LQ: Oh how could I possible remake the greats? Well, even though its not long ago… the first Alien or Silence of the Lambs.
TSS: How special is the fan interaction to you?
LQ: The fan interactions means a lot to me. I'm amazed by the things they say to me and bring me. How they know about things I do, or things I like and dislike. They make me feel more special than they could ever imagine!
TSS: We look forward to seeing you Halloween weekend, but before we wrap, I'd like to give you the time to share a few words. Any special Halloween thoughts?
LQ: For Halloween I hope everyone will be extremely happy since this is OUR holiday, of course. Remember: Save the animals! hope to see you in Tacoma! Love, Linnea
