Book Preview: The Art Of Dave Seeley

I like to preview conventions I'm attending and covering, but it's pretty seldom I personally preview a book, until this opportunity came up.


It's obvious that myself and most of you reading this are fans of sci-fi and fantasy. A huge part of the genre is the imagery and art aspect, especially on books! Who hasn't picked up a  novel and gave it a shot based on the bada** cover art?

That being said, one of my favorite artist in the genre is Dave Seeley. Mr. Seeley is known and acclaimed for his work with the Star Wars, Predator, Halo, Battlestar Galactica, and so many other awesome brands!

I was contacted by his representatives about THE ART OF DAVE SEELEY recently about its upcoming release. THE ART OF DAVE SEELEY, to be released in September by publisher Insight Editions, is a collection of Mr. Seeley's best visual art with descriptions of his working processes.

I look forward to learning more about the artist and his work. I highly recommend grabbing a copy because: 1) Dave Seeley is one of the preeminent artists in the genre 2) His work is second to none and 3) I gotta support the fellow New Englander! Seriously, check it out...
